From October 14th till October 23rd, 2009, Cinemaiyat hosted in Ehden a workshop, organized by Beirut DC, partnering with ARTE, Dubai Film Festival, GOETHE Institute, & Cinemaiyat, for the project “Two Side of the coin”.

Participants in the workshop came from Europe and different Arab countries. The workshop had many seminars, focusing on improving scenario writing for the young directors. It also included many outdoor activities in the Ehden region.
At the end of the workshop, a dinner was held by Cinemaiyat at Al Ferdous restaurant with the presence of Mrs. Rima Sleiman Frangieh, President of Al Midan association and Cinemaiyat festival.
The dinner was an occasion for many actors, producers, and directors in the Lebanese cinema industry, to gather and talk and meet all the participants in the workshop and to know more about the whole project.
