Cinemaiyat has screened the work of prominent Lebanese young film makers who will be competing for the Golden Apple Award. A special committee has discussed and judjed the students short films presented by all the different universities in Lebanon.

The winners have been announced during a "Gala Dinner".
The awards were:

• Golden Apple Award: A trip for two to Hollywood
• Silver Apple Award: A trip for two to "Cannes Festival"
• Bronze Apple Award: A photograhic professional camera
