Life time Achievement Award Has been awarded to the Lebanese comedian Abdullah Al Houmssi "As'ad" and the Lebanase writer and director Bourhan Alouie.

asaadAbdullah Al Houmssi

Born in Tripoli in 1937,  Known as As’ad, he started his profession as a comedian by 1960 at the Lebanese Television, offered more than 1700 hours of broadcast of the screen, over 60 plays of the theater, 15 movies of the cinema and participated in all kind of festivities all around Lebanon, as he also broadcasted his own radio programs.
He founded “The Folklore Band” in Tripoli which is still active till now.
Today, As’ad the artist enjoy living among his family, as we still enjoy his legacy.




borhanBourhan Alouie

Born at the 1st of April 1941 in Lebanon, and later on her received the Belgian nationality.
He graduated from I.N.S.A.S, Brussels, Department of Film Directing and now professor of Film Directing at Saint Joseph University in Beirut.
Alaouieh has written and directed number of films, documentaries, and received numerous awards.
